In Greek mythology, Argos was the faithful dog of Odysseus who waited for his master's return for 20 years. When Odysseus returned, Argos immediately recognized his master, despite the fact that he was disguised. If you are looking for a companion as faithful as the mythical Argos, check out the Argos of HSCC. When you meet him, he scoots to be closer to you and attempts to sit in your lap. He has a cherry eye which should be repaired very shortly. This is going to be a large sized dog, so if you are looking for a big teddy bear, Argos is your guy. Argos would do best in a home with 1 or two other dogs (not a large pack) so that he can gain some confidence and get individual attention.
