ADOPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I think Delilah's pictures say it all! Delilah is a dog's dog...she has gotten along with pretty much every dog I've put her with. She loves to play and would be an awesome companion for a lonely dog looking for a playmate. In these pictures, her buddy is Dionysus. Delilah was rescued along with her sister in April from a local kill shelter, where she was scheduled for euthanasia purely because she is a pit bull. She is a bit shy at first and cowers a bit when people come up on her quickly or raise a hand, so it appears that she may have been hit at one point. She needs an owner who will help her build confidence. This can involve basic obedience training, agility, outings, etc. Delilah does well at dog parks. Since she is a bit shy, Delilah must go to a home with children over the age of pre-teens. Delilah is very small statued, weighing in about 30 pounds. She could potentially be mixed with something else, although we couldn't really say what.
